• Do not apply Winter Green to new lawns under 3 months old (use MossOff instead).
• Avoid Ferrous Sulphate on grass under 2 months old if applying at over 2g/m².
• Safe to apply Ferrous Sulphate up to 24 hours before seeding.
• Winter Green and Evergreen Mosskill can be applied up to 3 days before seeding.
• Avoid all three within one week before or after applying a liquid weedkiller.
• Do not apply these iron-rich treatments within 4 weeks of each other.

Granular Fertilisers (All Types)

• Work well with all other products except Winter Green, which should be used independently.
• Great after seeding, weed treatment, scarifying or aerating.

Grass Seed & Turfing Guidelines

Planning to overseed or lay turf? Keep this in mind:

• Avoid weedkiller for 2 months before seeding.

This natural moss remover is highly flexible with no product conflicts, but:

• Wait 7 days between other moss treatments.
• Don’t apply over freshly sown seed; wait 4 weeks after germination.

Solugreen Soluble Fertiliser

• Ideal booster feed between April and August.
• Not for use on grass under 3 months old.
• Can be mixed with Ferrous Sulphate or liquid weedkiller for combined feeding and weed control.

Lawn Weedkiller – Ready-to-Use

• Minimal risk to existing grass when applied carefully.
• Avoid newly seeded areas and young grass under 3 months old.

Lawn Weedkiller – Concentrated (for Blanket Application)

• Best time to apply: Mid-May to September.

Best Order of Lawn Care Tasks

Here’s a seasonal lawn care timeline to help you plan treatments effectively:

Aerating (Spiking & Hollow Tining)

• Spike: year-round for compaction relief.
• Hollow tine: ideal in early spring or late autumn.

Apply before seeding, fertilising, or weed control.

Fertilising

• Apply after most procedures.
• Exception: Apply 1-2 weeks before weedkiller for best results.
• For seeding, apply on the day or after germination.

Mowing

Mow before applying any treatment.

Post-treatment mowing tips:

• Granular Fertiliser: mow first, then apply.
• Weedkiller: wait 2-3 days post-mowing to apply, and avoid mowing 3 days after.
• Ferrous Sulphate & Soluble Feeds: apply after mowing; do not mow for 7-10 days.

For new lawns: mow at the highest setting for 3-4 months.

Raking for Moss

• Moss doesn’t need to be killed before raking.
• Apply Green-up or Winter Green 3–30 days prior if desired.
• For follow-up, use MossOff or a second Ferrous Sulphate dose (3-4 weeks apart).
• Mow close (but don’t scalp) before raking and before seeding.

Overseeding Tips
